Bayhealth Medical Center in Delaware is seeking a senior leader to direct laboratory operations across the enterprise. You will set policies, lead staffing, and partner with physicians and hospital leadership to uphold the highest quality standards.

The Director oversees the Clinical and Anatomic Pathology laboratories, Blood Bank, and on-site/off-site testing, while guiding budgeting, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning.

Formación

• Master's degree in Medical Technology or related field.
• Certified Medical Technologist credential.
• Ten years in a laboratory with seven in progressive management.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strong operational leadership and ensure staffing and professional development for lab staff.
• Develop short and long-range strategic plans for the department and oversight of lab facilities and testing.
• Ensure laboratory procedures meet CAP and regulatory standards and are approved by Medical Director.
• Oversee budgeting, capacity planning, and enterprise software releases affecting lab services.
• Represent the laboratory in hospital leadership meetings and collaborate with physicians and admins to improve quality and efficiency.

Educación

Master Degree Medical Technology Or a master's degree in a related field
