Job summary

The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Senior Category Lead to drive strategic procurement across Health Procurement Liverpool (HPL) and support the Procurement Manager and Head of Procurement in strategy delivery. You will lead a team of procurement professionals and manage high-value contracts, delivering value for money and innovations for patient care.

You will engage with clinical and business partners across HPL, ensuring input into specifications, driving continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Qualified or part qualified MCIPS (Level 4/Diploma upwards), actively working towards or equivalent experience
• A good standard of general education incl. GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
• Relevant Business Degree
• Evidence of continued professional development
