You will develop long-term strategies, manage a small team, partner with stakeholders, drive cost reductions, assess suppliers, and implement innovative procurement tech while ensuring compliance and ethical sourcing.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading and developing commercial strategies relating to the categories in scope.
• Track record of delivering and exceeding commercial targets.
• Excellent communication skills to build relationships, influence and work collaboratively.
• Ability to advise, manage and report risks effectively.
• Experience with sourcing tools, market analysis and end-to-end procurement processes.
• Demonstrable ability to evaluate and summarise complex sourcing scenarios, communicating them clearly to stakeholders.
• Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Get-it-done, collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute long-term procurement strategies aligned with Wise's objectives.
• Manage a team of 2x Procurement professionals.
• Partner with the business and build robust stakeholder relationships.
• Lead cost reductions and spend optimization across categories.
• Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, price and reliability.
• Identify opportunities to consolidate suppliers or renegotiate contracts.
• Assist in risk mitigation for supply chain disruptions and stay informed on market conditions.
• Promote sustainable and ethical sourcing and regulatory compliance.
• Advocate for procurement technologies and automation to improve processes.
