Job summary

Broadacres Housing Association Limited in Northallerton is seeking an Assistant Director, Performance and Risk to lead performance, risk, and governance across the organisation. You will shape insight, data use, and regulatory compliance while supporting the Company Secretary and deputy Company Secretary duties.

The role requires strategic leadership, strong stakeholder influence, and the development of three specialist direct reports within an integrated in-house service.

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience in a regulated service environment.
• Experience leading performance, risk, governance, data or legal services.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders including the Board and Committees.

Responsibilities

• Shape a trusted performance and insight framework linking strategy to delivery.
• Lead data strategy, improve data quality, governance and ownership.
• Accelerate self-service reporting and analytical capability (Power BI).
• Oversee risk management, internal audit, assurance, insurance and business continuity.
• Provide high-quality governance support to the Board and Executives.
