ALH Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Head of Finance / Finance Lead in St Neots to take ownership of the finance function in a growing business. The role is hands-on and commercially driven, balancing day-to-day finance with strategic initiatives.

You will work closely with the wider group to deliver robust reporting, forecasting and commercial insight. The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant with a track record of delivering improvements, driving efficiencies and supporting growth through

Competenze

Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
Hands-on and ready to roll sleeves up
Commercially minded with ability to interpret the story behind the numbers
Experience operating across both day-to-day finance and strategic initiatives
Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

Mansioni

Run the day-to-day finance function, with bookkeeping oversight, ledgers and controls
Produce month-end accounts, management reporting and forecasting
Drive process improvements, automation and data quality enhancements
Support acquisitions, investments and strategic growth initiatives
Collaborate with portfolio businesses to ensure financial visibility and performance improvement
Translate financial data into meaningful commercial insights for decision-making
Identify opportunities to improve profitability and cash flow across the group
