Job summary

Waythrough, based in Bradford, seeks an experienced Harm Reduction Team Manager to lead strategic harm reduction across New Vision Bradford. The role involves coordinating campaigns with internal teams and partners, using data to shape delivery, and overseeing Naloxone, BBV testing, and related services.

The post requires strong leadership, collaboration, and a commitment to evidence-based practices in harm reduction, with progression opportunities within the service.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent is required or be willing to work towards this qualification.
• Strong knowledge of harm reduction approaches and interventions.
• Ability to deliver evidence-based interventions including brief interventions and motivational interviewing.
• Experience of delivering one-to-one and group interventions and harm reduction training.
• Ability to plan and coordinate harm reduction initiatives across multiple teams and partner organisations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a strategic Harm Reduction plan across New Vision Bradford.
• Coordinate district-wide harm reduction campaigns with internal teams and partners.
• Use local data to identify trends and inform service delivery.
• Lead harm reduction workstreams: Naloxone, Needle Syringe Programmes, BBV testing and treatment.
• Ensure BBV testing, immunisation, and Naloxone access across services.
• Provide specialist harm reduction guidance to colleagues and partners.
• Attend strategic meetings and contribute to harm reduction networks.
