Job summary

Cambridge Aerospace is seeking a Director of Strategy & Special Projects to lead strategic planning, portfolio prioritisation and high‑impact initiatives across the business. You will translate company objectives into clear strategies, actionable plans and informed investment decisions.

This cross‑functional role requires strong strategic judgement, commercial awareness and the ability to turn complex challenges into practical solutions.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in strategy development, management consulting or operational‑strategic planning.
• Proven ability to develop business strategies and lead complex initiatives.
• Strong commercial and analytical skills, including investment evaluation and portfolio management.
• Experience establishing strategic frameworks, OKRs, KPIs and governance processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management, able to influence senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning cycles, workshops and OKR development.
• Drive product portfolio prioritisation and investment decisions.
• Develop frameworks for resource allocation, capital investment and governance.
• Lead high‑priority strategic projects from analysis to execution.
• Evaluate partnerships, investments and opportunities with business cases.
• Establish planning, performance monitoring and governance across Strategy & Growth.
