Job summary

Cambridge Aerospace is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support strategic decision-making through high-quality data analysis, forecasting and reporting. Working with the Director, Strategic Analytics & Intelligence, you will analyse commercial, market and operational data to provide clear insights that inform business strategy and growth opportunities.

The role combines hands-on analytics with the development of models, dashboards and reporting tools to establish a data-driven planning

Qualifications

• Strong experience in data analytics, business intelligence or comparable analytical role.
• Advanced skills in data analysis and modelling using Python, SQL, Excel or equivalent tools.
• Experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong statistical and quantitative skills with forecasting and trend analysis.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly and translate data into strategic recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Analyse commercial, market and operational datasets to identify trends and risks informing decisions.
• Develop market sizing models (TAM, SAM, SOM) and defence spending forecasts.
• Build forecasting models, dashboards and reports for growth pipelines and resource allocation.
• Support competitor analysis and strategic investment decisions via quantitative research.
• Create data visualisations and executive reports for senior stakeholders.
• Improve data quality and reporting processes to strengthen strategic analytics capability.
