Job summary

Lunar Energy, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Development Manager to drive growth strategy, build and own complex financial models, and evaluate markets, partnerships, and potential acquisitions.

You will work with senior executives and finance, markets, and data teams to influence strategic decisions and financing structures. You will travel to the US and collaborate with California colleagues, while based in our London office with hybrid work.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in IB, project finance, or strategy roles in energy.
• Hands-on project finance: cash waterfalls and term sheets.
• Advanced Excel skills; macros proficiency.
• Strong written and verbal communication; board material.
• Willingness to travel and occasional evening hours.

Responsibilities

• Build and own complex financial models for commercial, product unit economics, and project finance structures.
• Evaluate financing structures, cash flow waterfalls, tax equity and partner economics.
• Analyze unit economics of hardware and software; identify margin levers.
• Assess strategic partnerships, market sizing, diligence, valuation, and recommendations.
• Prepare board, investor, and lender materials and present analyses to senior audiences.
• Develop internal tools and dashboards with AI to answer recurring questions.
