Zusammenfassung

WJ is seeking a Head of Business Development in the UK to lead the sales function, own the order intake pipeline and marketing remit, and drive expansion into AMP8 water sector, defence and public sector frameworks.

Based at WJ’s UK Head Office in Kings Langley with regular travel across the UK, you will develop new service lines in water treatment, instrumentation & monitoring and professional services, lead a sales team, and shape strategy with the Senior Leadership Team.

Qualifikationen

• Proven senior BD track record in water, construction or subcontracting.
• Experience winning work through frameworks and public sector routes (e.g. AMP programmes, EA, DEFRA, NHS).
• Leadership of sales teams with coaching and accountability.

Aufgaben

• Own and drive UK business development strategy and pipeline.
• Lead bid/no-bid decisions and oversee framework submissions with sales and technical teams.
• Drive improvement in win rates, margin quality and order intake conversion.
