Job summary

QinetiQ Limited seeks a Growth and Strategic Opportunities Leader to drive pipeline growth in UK Innovation domains such as autonomy and quantum, shaping markets and developing opportunities into qualified wins for the Capture team.

The role requires senior stakeholder engagement with UK MoD and Defence partners, cross‑functional leadership, and the ability to orchestrate strategic captures, bids, and growth plans across UKDI and UKRI.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in hands-on development and execution of large-scale pipelines (£100M+).
• Experience winning competitive tenders and managing a dynamic capture portfolio.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence at executive levels.
• Security clearances to allow unfettered access to core clients in defence and security.

Responsibilities

• Drive major capture activities, bids and proposals for high-value programmes.
• Develop and drive growth strategy across UKDI and UKRI.
• Engage with senior stakeholders across MoD and Defence to influence orders pipeline.
• Coordinate with CTO and senior leaders to align strategy and resources.
