Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking an Associate on the Global Banking Intelligence & Growth Strategy team in London. You will partner with senior leaders to shape strategic priorities and drive data-driven revenue growth across M&A, capital markets, FX, payments, and corporate banking.

You will work with internal data, external market intelligence, and AI/LLM techniques to translate insights into actionable recommendations for executive audiences, influencing product strategy and client engagement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with a leading management consulting firm, top-tier bank, or private equity firm with a focus on data-driven strategy and analytics.
• Demonstrated expertise in revenue-driven analytics, market sizing, TAM and wallet modeling, and capital markets data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with large datasets, financial statements, and AI/LLM tools for insight generation.
• Experience building data models (SQL, Python, Alteryx) and visualizations (Tableau, Qlik).

Responsibilities

• Identify actionable global banking opportunities by integrating internal indicators with external deal activity, valuations, and sector dynamics.
• Develop market and product insights from proprietary payment flows, filings, and external data to uncover opportunities.
• Create TAM, wallet and share-of-wallet models to guide banker focus and prioritization.
• Monitor market and capital markets developments to generate timely insights that influence client engagement and product strategy.
• Design and enhance banker coverage models, prioritization frameworks, and territory strategies.
• Design and build analytical workflows, dashboards, and opportunity assessments for scale.
• Translate analyses into concise, executive-level recommendations for leadership.
• Partner with leaders across IB, Corporate Banking, Payments, and Markets to inform strategic agendas.
• Lead initiatives from ideation through execution with rigorous analytics.
