Job summary

Barron Williams Executive Search seeks a Group Operations Director for a leading energy solutions group. Based in Northern England, you will travel UK/Ireland and occasional EU. The role leads operations strategy, process improvement, and the long-term people plan, driving growth and client service excellence within a group matrix structure. Qualifications

• Group Operations Director with a background in refrigeration or air conditioning/ventilation operations.
• Proven track record in leading multi-site operations and delivering high service standards.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration across multiple businesses.

Responsibilities

• Review current operations and service delivery processes across UK/Ire businesses.
• Develop a national service offering and a cohesive Group identity for growth.
• Plan and execute a long-term people plan for operations, including recruitment and development.
• Drive best practices to embed a CI approach and operational excellence.
• Recommend action plans to realise short-, medium-, and long-term benefits.
• Build practical relationships with individual group businesses to maximise impact.
