Job summary

KCR Solutions are assisting an excellent client in Middlesbrough to recruit an Interim Group Management Accountant. You will take ownership of timely management reporting, lead budgeting and forecasting activities, and support year-end processes with a view to driving continuous improvement across the finance function.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders, provide insightful financial analysis, oversee controls and VAT reporting, and help shape the finance team’s performance during the

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Experience producing management accounts and financial reports.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis skills.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and auditors.
• Advanced Excel and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare management accounts, financial reports and analysis.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and scenario modelling activities.
• Review financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls.
• Oversee VAT returns and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Support year-end accounts preparation and external audits.
• Provide financial business partnering and advice to operational managers.
• Line manage finance team members and support workload planning.
• Contribute to process improvements, reporting enhancements and financial efficiencies.
