Job summary

Atomic Weapons Establishment in Reading is seeking a Head of Government Delivery Agreements to lead end-to-end contracting for services outside the main government contract. You will work with MOD, Home Office and industry partners, shaping proposals, pricing and governance to ensure compliant delivery.

The role requires senior commercial experience, strong relationship management, and the ability to drive performance in a high-regulation environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior commercial or financial/compliance role in a large organisation.
• Proven ability to lead contractual performance management on complex contracts.
• Strong stakeholder engagement with senior management and customers.

Responsibilities

• Own contracting and contract management for services outside the principal AWE contract.
• Develop relationships with key customers (MOD, Home Office) and industry partners to expand service scope.
• Lead proposal development, pricing strategies and obtain necessary approvals.
• Manage contract lifecycle from bid to handover, ensuring compliance and governance.
