Job summary

Delphi Care Solutions is recruiting a Strategic Governance, Safeguarding & Regulatory Oversight Lead to operate across UK regions. The role involves independent governance oversight, safeguarding leadership, and ensuring inspection readiness in line with SCCIF.

Responsibilities include monitoring incidents and safeguarding trends, providing professional challenge, and ensuring regulator engagement is robust while maintaining provider-level accountability.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS including Children's Barred List check.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Children's Residential) or equivalent senior leadership experience.
• Significant senior leadership experience in children's residential care.
• Deep knowledge of Care Standards Act 2000, Children's Homes Regulations 2015, Ofsted SCCIF.
• Strong safeguarding expertise and governance scrutiny ability.

Responsibilities

• Independent governance oversight and strategic safeguarding leadership.
• Inspection-readiness assurance aligned to SCCIF.
• Provider-level accountability and professional challenge.
• Monitor trends in incidents, safeguarding, and regulatory reporting.
• Oversee Regulation 44 independence and Regulation 45 reports.
