Job summary

Steer is seeking an FP&A Analyst to join our Strategic Finance team in the UK. The role covers forecasting, financial modelling, business partnering, and data analytics, with a strong emphasis on Power BI development to improve reporting speed, quality and accessibility across the Group.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Strategic Finance, support international operations and help shape how finance operates within a growing consultancy.

Qualifications

• Significant FP&A, commercial finance or related experience with standalone analytical delivery.
• Strong management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis skills.
• Advanced Excel modelling and scenario analysis capabilities.
• Ability to identify drivers of performance and provide commercial insight.
• Degree or equivalent analytical/professional background; professional qualification pursued.
• Hands-on Power BI development experience and data-modeling ability.

Responsibilities

• Own budgeting, forecasting and quarterly reforecasting across units and regions.
• Develop and maintain integrated financial models in Excel.
• Analyze performance, explain variances and identify drivers.
• Create scenario analyses to support planning and investment decisions.
• Partner with business leaders to challenge assumptions and improve processes.
• Lead Power BI reporting, dashboards and data visuals for senior stakeholders.
• Validate outputs and ensure data integrity across reports.
