Job summary

Wise in London is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our FP&A team. You will be a strategic partner to senior stakeholders, shaping long-term plans, forecasting headcount and costs, and building models to analyse the cost base and derive actionable insights.

You will deliver deep dives on financial metrics, drive variance analysis, and craft narratives for leadership reporting, enabling Wise to grow sustainably and optimize investments.

Qualifications

• Partner with department leads and senior stakeholders to drive planning and cost analysis.
• Build financial models and planning tools (Anaplan) and analyse cost base.
• Implement cost controls and policies to enable sustainable growth.
• Forecast headcount and operating costs to support growth.
• Qualified finance professional with IFRS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Be a strategic partner to senior stakeholders across the business, guiding long-term plans and identifying insights for decision making.
• Lead the planning process and improve forecasting of headcount and operating costs to enable sustainable growth and lower customer costs.
• Develop frameworks (models and reports) to analyse Wise's cost base and identify risks and opportunities.
• Provide deep dives on key metrics and focus on actuals vs forecast to drive accuracy and strategic decisions.
• Narrate results and manage reporting to leaders and department leads.
