Job summary

Director of Financial Planning, Performance & Strategy role in Hampshire with agile working, offering £130,000 salary plus car allowance, pension and private healthcare. You will report to the CFO and lead a senior FP&A team, shaping long-term plans and price-control submissions across the group.

The role combines strategic finance, performance leadership and business planning to influence executive decisions.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with global corporate experience and board-level advising capability.
• Track record advising Executive and Board-level stakeholders.
• Influences major strategic decisions and manages complex stakeholder relationships.
• Leads large-scale planning, regulatory, transformation or strategic programmes.
• Communicates complex information clearly to Boards and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial leadership to the CFO, Executive Team and Board.
• Lead annual business planning aligning objectives, investments and performance.
• Drive forecasting, planning and performance management across the Group.
• Own the Group performance management framework and financial delivery.
• Develop and coach a high-performing finance leadership team.
• Represent the organisation with regulators, customers and external bodies.
• Build strong relationships across the business to influence decisions.
• Improve FP&A processes, systems and governance reporting.
• Lead submissions for price control reviews and act as Bid Manager.
• Chair governance forums and cross-functional working groups.
• Support customer consultations and stakeholder engagement.
• Provide financial leadership on investments, projects and improvements.
• Support executive remuneration planning with target setting and value drivers.
