Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Procurement Officer with fleet & logistics expertise to join our client in Randburg, Gauteng. You will source vehicles, spare parts and maintenance services, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships to drive cost efficiency and operational reliability.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in fleet procurement, strong negotiation and analytics, and familiarity with ERP and fleet software. Based in Randburg or willing to relocate.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in SCM, Logistics, Business Admin or related field.
• Minimum 4 years in procurement with fleet focus.
• Proven negotiation and supplier-management experience.
• Knowledge of fleet maintenance, parts, and services.

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement for fleet assets: vehicles, tires, parts, fuel.
• Source, negotiate, and manage fleet maintenance contracts.
• Build relationships with manufacturers, dealers, and service providers.
• Analyze data to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize strategy.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain records of purchases and contracts.
