Job summary

Arriva Group in London is seeking a Commercial Manager to support growth through robust infrastructure and fleet planning. You will analyse tenders, work with Directors to shape business cases and drive introduction of zero-emission vehicles across garages and fleets.

You will liaise with TfL and local authorities to align projects with transport strategies, and support fleet planning, staffing, and communications across garage operations.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the London bus market and environs.
• Knowledge of the London bus network with Arriva London routes.
• Project management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Commercial and budgetary awareness with tender processes.
• Experience building relationships with TfL, local authorities and partners.

Responsibilities

• Analyse forthcoming tender tranches to identify growth opportunities and prepare tender papers.
• Collaborate with Directors and Project Portfolio Manager on potential garage sites and business cases.
• Develop and implement strategies for electric/zero-emission vehicles in garage infrastructure and fleet.
• Liaise with TfL, local authorities and partners on garage/infrastructure schemes.
• Understand the Mayor’s Transport Strategy and planning strategies for future growth.
• Plan fleet requirements including vehicle types, capacities, and tendering regimes.
