Job summary

Arriva TrainCare in London is seeking a Commercial Planning Manager to support growth by ensuring the group has the required infrastructure and fleet for future tenders. You will analyse forthcoming tender tranches, work with Directors and the Project Portfolio Manager to identify garage sites, and develop strategies for electric and other zero‑emission vehicles.

You will liaise with Transport for London, local authorities and partners, coordinate fleet planning with garages and engineering

Qualifications

• Graduate level education or professional qualification and related experience.
• Understanding of financial management, commercial and strategic awareness.
• Experience building relationships with stakeholders and partners, including TfL and local authorities.
• Knowledge of London bus market and Arriva network advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Analyse forthcoming tender tranches to identify growth opportunities.
• Identify garage sites and review opportunities for new work with business cases.
• Develop strategies for electric/zero-emission vehicles and related infrastructure.
• Liaise with TfL, local authorities and partners on infrastructure schemes.
• Coordinate fleet planning considering vehicle types and garage capacity.
• Support mobilisation of new contract wins and staffing/fleet planning.
• Assist communications strategy and ensure clear schedule changes reach teams.
• Protect commercially sensitive data and promote data-driven decision making.
