Job summary

Janus Henderson Group is seeking a Senior Investment Data Analyst to bridge Investment teams and Technology Delivery. You will work across investment, business and technology to design data features, support enterprise data change, and extract measurable value from investment data.

You will lead analysis projects, collaborate with PMs, analysts, traders, risk and operations to translate business needs into technical specifications and agile features, including data models and pipelines.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in a data analyst role within asset/investment management or financial services.
• Strong fixed income and investment data knowledge; supports portfolio management, trading, risk and operations.
• Proven track record leading data transformation, platform migration or investment data change initiatives.
• Experience writing SQL and Python for analysis, validation, reconciliation and automation.
• Experience with data warehouses or cloud platforms (Snowflake/Databricks/SQL Server).
• Ability to write detailed requirements, process maps, data mappings and user stories.

Responsibilities

• Lead collaboration with portfolio managers, analysts, traders, risk and operations to understand data needs.
• Translate business needs into technical specs and agile features; design data models and pipelines.
• Represent fixed income data stakeholders on cross-functional data projects; liaise across teams.
• Conduct data analysis, profiling, reconciliation to support decisions and data quality.
• Serve as SME for fixed income data including security, holdings, transactions, portfolios and benchmarks.
• Support transition of data capabilities to platforms like Aladdin Data Cloud and Snowflake.
