Job summary

Janus Henderson Investors is seeking a Senior Data Business Analyst to join the Enterprise Data Team. You will lead cross-functional analysis projects, translate business needs into data features, and drive measurable value from client data across the organisation.

You will own data modeling, pipelines, governance, and dashboards, collaborating with stakeholders and mentoring junior analysts while delivering high-impact data solutions in a hybrid London-based environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in data analysis, architecture and warehousing in a cloud environment.
• Proven track record leading data projects with strategic impact.
• Familiarity with agile methodology and leading teams in agile environments.
• Experience writing SQL and Python scripts for data warehouses (Databricks Delta Lake, Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server).
• Experience with data visualization or reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; able to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead collaboration with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications and agile features.
• Represent client data needs across cross-functional data change and transformation projects.
• Conduct data analysis to support decisions, improve data quality, and resolve issues using SQL and Python.
• Act as SME for distribution data and enterprise data strategy; govern data flows and definitions.
• Lead agile planning, define user stories, and prioritize features with product owners.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs and insights.
