Job summary

NSTR LIMITED seeks a Finance Controller in Blackburn to lead financial strategy, performance and governance, reporting to the CEO and Board. Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification required.
• Experience in senior financial management or Financial Controller role.
• Strong commercial and strategic finance experience.
• Experience producing management accounts, forecasts and budgets.
• Strong KPI reporting and financial performance understanding.
• Experience leading a finance team.
• Proficient in Excel and cloud accounting (Xero).
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• High integrity and confidentiality.
• Organised and independent with leadership skills.
• Commitment to professional development.

Responsibilities

• Partner with CEO to provide strategic financial insight.
• Present monthly financial performance to Partners.
• Lead and develop the Finance team.
• Own monthly management accounts and MI.
• Lead quarterly reforecasting and annual budgeting.
• Improve WIP and debt management.
• Lead local M&A activities including due diligence.
• Support finance systems and processes improvements.
• Provide commercial financial support across the Group.
• Identify risks and mitigation strategies.
• Review and present the monthly Board Pack.
• Maintain monthly flash report.
• Manage loan notes and financial responsibilities.
