Job summary

SF Partners is recruiting a Financial Controller to own the day-to-day finance function within an established business in Coventry. You will manage the finance team, oversee cash flow, and deliver monthly management accounts with commentary for acted decisions.

You will work with the senior finance lead to strengthen controls, improve reporting, and contribute to commercial decisions, ensuring accurate numbers and timely regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong financial accounting and management reporting experience.
• Budgeting, cash forecasting and audit experience.
• Proven leadership of a finance team and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop the finance team, setting clear priorities.
• Oversee cash management, forecasting and working capital.
• Deliver monthly management accounts with variance analysis.
• Review costs, profitability and financial performance with operations.
• Coordinate budgets, forecasts and year-end activities.
• Maintain balance sheet controls and ensure regulatory compliance.
