Job summary

International Flavors & Fragrances, Inc. in Manchester is seeking a Financial Controller to bring calm, governance and scale to a fast-growing group.

You will own month-end and year-end across the group, produce statutory accounts, manage tax reporting, and lead a small team while partnering with FP&A and Treasury. This role offers strong headroom as the business matures and continues acquisitions.

Qualifications

• ACA (or equivalent) with UK accounting focus.
• 5+ years PQE with strong technical grounding.
• Deep understanding of UK GAAP, statutory compliance and audit.
• Experience in multi-entity or acquisitive environments.
• Hands-on, pragmatic, organised, detail-driven.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end and year-end across the group, accurate and timely.
• Produce statutory accounts for all entities and manage the audit relationship.
• Maintain compliance with UK GAAP and update policies as needed.
• Oversee balance sheet controls, reconciliations, provisions and intercompany.
• Manage tax reporting with external advisors.
• Drive better processes, controls and systems across finance.
