Job summary

One Retail Group is seeking an exceptional financial professional to own the integrity of financial reporting and month-end close in a fast-moving e-commerce environment. You will work with the CFO to drive process improvements, ERP optimisation, and robust financial controls across the business.

The role is hands-on, focusing on stabilising, transforming, and continuously improving the finance function while partnering with senior leadership to influence commercial decisions globally.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ accounting experience, with a track record as a Financial Controller or reporting to a Finance Director/CFO.
• Retail or physical goods experience, ideally with online marketplaces and international operations.
• Strong ERP experience, ideally Dynamics BC, with process improvement and control design.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close and consolidate reporting for P&L and balance sheet.
• Own ERP bedding-in, controls, and data quality across marketplaces.
• Manage treasury, intercompany transactions, and working capital.
• Oversee audit, compliance, and regulatory reporting from planning to completion.
• Partner with commercial teams to deliver actionable financial insights.
