Job summary

Nomad Foods is seeking an experienced Financial Controller on a 12-month fixed-term contract to support daily finance operations within a busy SSC. You will work with a talented team across Europe’s leading frozen brands including Birdseye, Aunt Bessie, Findus and Goodfella pizzas.

You will lead end-to-end accounting and controls, embed the ERP system, and ensure timely, accurate reporting for market entities, collaborating with senior stakeholders and the Senior Financial Accountant.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with CIMA/ACCA/ACA.
• Experience leading a team of accountants.
• Proven track record in end-to-end accounting and reporting.
• Hands-on with ability to delegate and supervise others.
• Strong ERP experience and SOX knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate indirect reporting including VAT, Intrastat and EC Sales List.
• Lead preparation of local statutory accounts with outsources/providers.
• Close the month-end reporting cycle on time.
• Own end-to-end record-to-report for markets.
• Ensure compliance with all requirements.
• Support Group Finance in monthly accounting cycle.
• Perform monthly ledger reconciliations and controls.
• Oversee SOX controls compliance for SSC.
• Manage auditor information requests and relationships.
