Job summary

Churchill Group is seeking a Finance Business Partner in Luton to join our Commercial Finance team. You will partner with operational leaders and senior stakeholders to drive profitability, support sustainable growth, and provide strategic financial insights.

You will lead planning, budgeting, forecasting, and model development to assess contract profitability and risk, while delivering clear financial reporting and commercially focused analysis.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or equivalent.
• Experience in a finance business partnering role.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into insights.
• Commercial mindset with track record of influencing stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted finance partner to Regional MD with financial insights.
• Support operational teams to ensure financial viability of contracts/projects.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and planning for the region.
• Develop/maintain financial models for profitability, costs and risk.
• Provide commercial analysis on new opportunities and pricing strategies.
• Identify trends and opportunities to improve financial performance.
• Assist with month-end reporting and high-quality financial outputs.
• Enhance senior management reporting highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate to streamline financial processes.
