Job summary

Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner (AfC Band 8B) to work with clinicians and managers, delivering clear financial advice and constructive challenge to decisions that matter.

You will be responsible for planning, forecasting, financial recovery and business cases, leading finance colleagues, and driving continuous improvement across a large clinical care group within the NHS framework.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified CCAB or CIMA accountant with current professional membership.
• Significant senior finance experience in a complex organisation.
• Strong NHS finance knowledge and understanding of NHS finance regime.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert finance advice and guidance to divisional colleagues as part of the SMT.
• Lead improvements in systems, reporting speed, accuracy, planning and internal controls.
