Job summary

Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner (AfC Band 8B). The role works with clinicians and managers to provide clear financial advice, support planning, and drive improvements across a large Clinical Care Group.

You will be a fully qualified CCAB or CIMA accountant with extensive NHS finance experience, capable of delivering robust financial plans, performance analysis and meaningful business cases to sustain services and transform care.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified CCAB or CIMA with current professional membership.
• Significant senior finance experience in a complex organisation.
• Strong NHS finance knowledge and ability to influence decisions.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, forecasting, financial recovery and business cases.
• Provide expert finance advice to divisional colleagues and SMT.
• Lead and develop finance colleagues and drive continuous improvement.
• Improve systems and processes to speed up reporting and planning.
• Deliver robust internal controls and performance management.
• Produce reports on financial plans and performance of the Clinical Care Group.
