Job summary

ACCA Careers is seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to join a growing commercial finance team near Abingdon. You will translate financial performance into actionable insights and partner with senior stakeholders to shape strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant status (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven Finance Business Partnering experience or strong client-facing advisory exposure.
• Confident to engage, challenge and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong commercial acumen and curiosity about how businesses operate.
• Excellent analytical and Excel skills; able to communicate complex financial information clearly.
• Proactive, high-performing approach with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership to provide financial insight and strategic support.
• Lead financial discussions and performance reviews with stakeholders across the business.
• Translate financial data into clear narratives to support decision-making.
• Challenge assumptions and influence commercial decisions through robust analysis.
• Collaborate with FP&A and operational finance teams to deliver meaningful recommendations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve performance, profitability and efficiency.
