Job summary

Transport for Wales is seeking a Finance Business Partner to support financial planning and performance across directorates. You will deliver budgets, forecasts and financial insights to senior management, helping drive strategic decisions and value creation.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to provide robust analysis, champion governance, and support continuous improvement within the organisation.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA and business partnering experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and delivery of financial plans, budgets and forecasts for assigned business areas.
• Produce management information, dashboards and commentary to inform decisions.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decisions with risk/opportunity insights.
• Challenge assumptions with senior leaders to ensure value for money and alignment with the business plan.
