Agora Talent Ltd is seeking a Senior Finance Manager – Corporate Support in Manchester for a high-profile fixed-term role. You will lead a team of qualified and part-qualified finance professionals and own technical accounting across IFRS, store estate accounting, balance sheet governance and statutory reporting.

The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder guidance, and the gravitas to interact with senior management, while driving automation with Alteryx and Excel.

Qualifikationen

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualification or equivalent.
• Post-qualified experience in a large, complex business.
• Strong IFRS knowledge.
• Experience in property/store estate accounting.
• Experience with impairments, DCF modelling, lease accounting and judgements.
• Balance sheet governance, statutory reporting and governance experience.
• Proven people leadership and coaching capability.
• Advanced Excel; Alteryx or similar automation tools desirable.
• Ability to translate technical accounting issues into practical business recommendations.

Aufgaben

• Lead and develop a team of qualified and part-qualified finance professionals.
• Own technical accounting advice across retail, property and wider group activity.
• Lead store estate accounting, including lease events, store closures, impairments, onerous contracts and provisions.
• Take ownership of balance sheet integrity, statutory reporting and financial controls.
• Support governance, audit readiness and high-quality financial outcomes.
• Partner with finance and non-finance stakeholders to provide clear accounting guidance.
• Drive automation, process improvement and scalable reporting using Alteryx and Excel.
