Job summary

Marks & Spencer plc is seeking a Finance Manager to partner with senior leaders in Data & AI, Sparks, Loyalty and Financial Services. You will lead budgeting, forecasting and planning, assess investment proposals, and deliver insights that drive growth and measurable value across major programmes.

You will build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, challenge commercial assumptions, and ensure governance and financial control across transformative initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial finance and business partnering within a large, fast-paced organisation.
• Ability to translate data into practical recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Strong communication, analytical and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner Data & AI and Loyalty & Financial Services leadership teams, providing financial insight and strategic support.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and planning across functions; ensure visibility of performance, risks and investment priorities.
• Evaluate investment proposals, business cases and transformation initiatives with robust assumptions and clear benefits.
• Deliver insightful reporting and analysis to senior stakeholders, translating data into clear recommendations.
