Job summary

Optima Recruitment Limited is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance. The role supports strategic decision-making, ensures financial health, and drives operational efficiency across the organization.

The Finance Manager will oversee cash flow, lead accounting staff, and liaise with external auditors. On-site parking and a pension are provided, with 20 days of holiday plus bank holidays.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting, with managerial responsibilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Analyse financial performance and provide insights to senior management.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and cost control initiatives.
• Supervise accounting staff and coordinate with external auditors.
• Develop and improve financial systems, processes, and controls.
• Support business strategy through financial modelling and risk analysis.
