Job summary

Optima Recruitment Limited seeks a Finance Manager to oversee financial planning, budgeting, reporting and compliance for the organization. You will lead a small team and partner with senior management to drive financial health.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in finance, strong knowledge of reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. This on-site role offers pension, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, and on-site parking in Banstead.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA/ACCA/CMA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting with managerial experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Analyze financial performance and provide insights to management.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and policies.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and cost control.
• Supervise accounting staff and coordinate with external auditors.
• Develop and improve financial systems, processes, and controls.
• Support business strategy through financial modeling and risk analysis.
