Job Description

Service Care Solutions is currently recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority in Berkshire for a Strategic Finance Manager to join the team on a temporary basis. The postholder will lead the Council’s Treasury Management and Capital Strategy functions, including the development and coordination of the capital programme. The role involves shaping the service area's direction, developing medium-term financial plans, and fostering continuous improvement.

Candidate Criteria

• Qualified CCAB/CIMA Accountant with extensive experience
• Experience in capital and treasury finance within a Local Authority
• Experience leading financial strategy and managing a team
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
