Job summary

Octopus Energy Ltd. is seeking a Strategic Finance Associate to support OEGen’s monthly management accounts, cash flow planning, and strategic finance initiatives across a global portfolio of entities.

The role involves coordinating budgets, engaging with senior stakeholders, and driving improvements in financial analysis and reporting. A qualified accountant with FP&A experience is preferred, with strong communication and organizational skills for a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA preferred).
• Experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
• Familiarity with financial reporting and month-end processes.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data.
• Experience or exposure to board and investor reporting and financial presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, review and analysis of OEGen cash flow actuals and forecasts, including capital call requests, cash flow reporting and reforecasting.
• Engage with department heads and senior Group stakeholders on financial matters.
• Coordinate the annual budget process across OEGen assets.
• Identify and manage economic trade-offs across the OEGen businesses via the capital allocation process.
