Job summary

Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Financial Analyst to provide timely financial analysis and support to senior management for proactive decision making and cost control. You will also act as Deputy to the Finance Manager when required.

The role involves producing monthly budget statements and delivering financial advice, guidance and training on budget setting to Budget Holders, alongside contributing to cost improvement and accurate management reporting.

Qualifications

• Studying CCAB qualification.
• Educated to degree level.
• Full CCAB or CIMA qualification or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide monthly budget statements and financial guidance to budget holders.
• Deliver financial advice and training on budget management.
• Support cost improvement programmes and explain budget variances.
