Job summary

Genuit Group is seeking a commercially minded Financial Controller to lead the Sky Garden / Permavoid Finance team and drive financial performance. You will own financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting while working with the Senior Leadership Team and key stakeholders to translate financial data into actionable insights.

You will help optimise profit and loss, working capital, cash flow and capex, and you will challenge processes to improve commercial decision-making across the business.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with CIMA/ACCA/ACA required.
• Experience in balance sheet control and budgeting/forecasting across P&L and balance sheet.
• Experience in large or listed business reporting environments.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate financial data into insights.
• Experience managing external stakeholders, including auditors, and using accounting software.
• Advanced Excel skills with high attention to detail in a pressurised environment.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Experience with international, multi-currency accounting and reporting.
• Desirable project accounting and SKU costing in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead production of budgets and forecasts with insightful financial information.
• Lead monthly management review presentations.
• Provide analysis of actual vs forecast across sales, rebates, costs, working capital, capex and cash flow.
• Maintain robust financial controls and high-quality reporting.
• Manage reporting and compliance processes including audits and group reporting.
• Oversee short-term cash flow reporting and variance analysis.
• Drive capex pipeline with justified spend requests.
• Promote cost control and working capital improvements.
