Job summary

Checkout.com is seeking an Associate in Strategic Finance to transform financial and commercial data into actionable insights for leadership. You will partner with Data Engineering, Finance, and cross-functional teams to build analytics workflows that support fast, data-driven decisions.

You’ll turn ambiguous requests into decision-ready outputs, deliver executive-style materials, and contribute to core financial data models and AI-enabled context layers for AI agents.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of data-driven and analytical experience.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in quantitative or business discipline.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, BI tooling, and data platforms; Python/SQL a plus.
• Experience using AI in a business context.

Responsibilities

• Analyse commercial and business performance across P&L and ROI to identify value creation.
• Translate ambiguous requests into clear, decision-ready insights.
• Craft executive-style deliverables such as decks, models, or AI-powered apps.
• Leverage AI tooling to build reusable analytical workflows for stakeholders.
• Drive reporting improvements, standardisation, and transparent data definitions.
