Job summary

Calor Gas Ltd. is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to partner with operational leaders, deliver robust financial reporting and decision support, and provide meaningful insights for strategic decisions across the business.

The role combines analytical rigor with commercially focused partnership to drive performance. You'll work with senior stakeholders, contribute to budgeting and forecasting, and help shape financial decisions that support Calor's growth and operational objectives.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant status (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Approximately two years' post-qualification experience.
• Strong experience in financial analysis and business partnering.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Experience building business cases, investment appraisals, and financial evaluations.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operational teams to provide financial analysis, insight, and performance challenge.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes.
• Develop and review financial models, business cases, investment appraisals, and scenario analyses.
• Challenge assumptions to drive improved business performance.
• Present financial information and recommendations to senior management and executives.
• Support strategic projects through analysis, evaluation, and reporting.
• Deliver ad-hoc financial support and decision-making analysis.
• Collaborate across Finance to improve reporting, processes, and data accessibility.
• Coach and mentor junior finance colleagues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within Finance.
