CMS CMNO LLP in London is seeking a Finance Analyst to join a Finance Business Partner team. The role supports leadership with accurate financial planning, budgeting and performance improvement while influencing strategy and operational excellence.

The successful candidate will develop insights, dashboards and MI, partner with regional leads, and contribute to long-range planning and quarterly reforecasts in a dynamic, customer-centric firm.

Qualifications

• Strong financial modelling skills.
• Advanced MS Office suite user (especially Excel).
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Compile and assess financial data to support complex business requests (partner and fee earner appraisals, profitability and trend reporting).
• Prepare high-quality financial presentations and provide analysis and recommendations.
• Provide support to resolve follow-up actions from business engagements.
• Produce monthly reporting packs with accuracy and timeliness.
• Offer direct Business Partnering support to regional leads or fee earning teams.
• Be a SME for finance systems and models, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
• Develop dashboards/MI and contribute to ad-hoc analyses to maximise profitability.
• Support annual budget process and quarterly reforecasting.
