Job summary

Ordnance Survey in Southampton is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Central Finance Team. You will maintain financial processes, report on performance, and provide policy-compliant financial guidance across the organisation.

You will support monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting, assist with budgeting and planning, and coordinate with external auditors and tax specialists. Strong IFRS knowledge is required; UK GAAP is desirable.

Qualifications

• Studying towards / part qualified in ACCA, CIMA or equivalent, or qualified by experience.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and other Microsoft packages; PowerBI desirable.
• Knowledge of financial systems such as D365 or SAP is desirable.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain financial processes, systems and controls and report on financial performance.
• Provide advice to stakeholders to ensure compliance with financial policies.
• Support monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting and forecasting.
• Assist in audit process and preparation of annual report and accounts.
