Ordnance Survey is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst in the Central Finance Team. The role focuses on maintaining financial processes, systems and controls, and providing insightful financial analysis and reporting across business units.

You will collaborate with Finance Business Partners, support monthly to year-end reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and assist with external audit activities. The role requires IFRS knowledge, VAT/Corp Tax awareness, and strong stakeholder communication.

Qualificações

• Studying towards / part qualified in ACCA, CIMA or equivalent, or qualified by experience
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting and finance experience
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and other Microsoft packages, PowerBI desirable but not essential
• Knowledge of D365, SAP (preferable but not essential)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Confidence to ask questions to support decision making

Responsabilidades

• Maintain financial processes, systems and controls
• Analyse and report on financial performance
• Provide advice to stakeholders to ensure policy compliance
• Support monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting and forecasting
• Assist planning, budgeting and forecasting processes
• Support external audit processes and annual report preparation
• Develop and maintain controls and accounting procedures
• Support system/process improvements for planning and reporting
