Job summary

Omega Resource Group is seeking a Field Service Director to lead the UK Field Service operation, delivering installations, commissioning, maintenance and breakdown support across the country. The role requires strategic leadership of field-based service activities, ensuring safe, efficient and consistent delivery of services.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in Field Service, Engineering Operations, or Technical Services.
• Proven ability to lead geographically dispersed teams.
• Strong installation, commissioning, maintenance and technical support background.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working in SAP environments and ISO-compliant settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the UK Field Service operation, ensuring efficient delivery of installations, commissioning, maintenance and breakdown support.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to meet service objectives and customer requirements.
• Manage workforce planning, resource allocation and engineering capacity to meet demand.
• Drive service performance through KPIs, continuous improvement and excellence initiatives.
• Act as senior technical authority for complex issues and escalations; mentor Field Service managers and engineers.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and timely resolution of major concerns.
• Maintain compliance with health & safety, quality and environmental regulations.
• Build strong relationships with customers, OEM partners and global technical teams.
