Job summary

Aspire Jobs is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee day-to-day facilities across three UK sites. You will implement and manage PPM programmes, ensuring high standards of maintenance for buildings, equipment, and services.

You will also manage reactive maintenance, contractor processes, and external suppliers, while guiding improvements, budgets and compliance with health, safety and ISO 14001 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day management of facilities across three sites
• Develop, implement and manage Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programmes
• Ensure all buildings, equipment, infrastructure and services are maintained to a high standard
• Manage reactive maintenance activities, ensuring timely resolution of issues
• Oversee facilities-related activities within the company management system, including contractor and asset records
• Manage the approved contractor process, ensuring contractors are competent, compliant and deliver value for money
• Source and manage external suppliers and contractors for maintenance, repairs, refurbishment projects, waste management and security services
• Lead facilities improvement projects, site upgrades and capital investment initiatives
• Monitor facilities expenditure, raise purchase orders and verify invoice accuracy
• Prepare and manage facilities budgets, forecasts and planned investment requirements
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs and enhance service delivery
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health & safety, environmental, security and statutory requirements
• Support waste management and environmental compliance activities in line with ISO 14001 requirements
• Maintain accurate facilities records, inspections, certifications and compliance documentation
