Job summary

Raytheon UK is seeking a Supply Chain professional to join the Commodity Management team in Glenrothes. You will develop sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and lead negotiations to deliver value for money while ensuring compliance with Raytheon policies and government regulations.

You will collaborate across functions, drive performance metrics, and contribute to growth and efficiency within manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in Supply Chain, Subcontract Management, Procurement, Commodity and/or related field.
• Related degree/MCIPS or equivalent.
• Experience in managing stakeholder groups.
• Experience of managing capital equipment acquisitions.
• Knowledge of facilities management and working large or complex buildings projects.
• Strong contract management experience including negotiating complex non-standard agreements.
• Experience or knowledge of MRP, SAP and purchase order placement/ material receipt processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support cross-functional teams in conducting Make v Buy exercises and developing and deploying commodity strategies of medium complexity.
• Develop sourcing strategies and manage supplier relationships to deliver value for money.
• Negotiate supplier agreements and monitor performance against KPIs.
• Develop and manage tenders; perform cost and price analyses and create business cases.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and Raytheon policies.
• Promote continuous improvement and risk management across supply chains.
